Jehangir Tareen, the Industries and Production federal minister in last governent had changed his party and joined PML (F) before elections has won in NA-195-Rahimyar Khan-IV.He has now put up a new face (Lota) after being involved in the government that gave shortage of atta, electricity, LPG, LNG, water, and cancellation of many mega investments in Pakistan. His worst work was award of Qadirpur gas licence for setup of fertilizer plant to Engro in one of strangest 1 party bidding in the history of Pakistan which led to many forign investors to move out of Pakistan permanently. The licence premuim paid was also around $2 million while if he could have waited 90 days a many parties asked for, he could have given Pakistan more than $70 million. And remember the bid bond was of $10 million!
Why was the bidding not postponed? Why only one party bidding was allowed? Why was bidding not postponed?
Shame on those who put their personal benefit before country's benefit.
Corrupt parties have corrupt leaders.
